TERRACOTTA ARMY - XI’AN WARRIORS, THE EXHIBITION

More than 180,000 people have already enjoyed Terracotta Army, the monographic exhibition about Xi'an Warriors Qin Xi Huang, First Emperor of Greater China.

TERRACOTTA ARMY provides a unique opportunity to learn the story of this singular army and the Emperor Qin Shi Huang, who believed in life after death, which claimed that his army of more than 8,000 figures protected him and would continue his conquests in the hereafter.Xi’an Mausoleum was declared by UNESCO as World Heritage Site in 1987, and in 2010 the team responsible for the excavation received the Príncipe de Asturias Award.. According to the writer and investigator Javier Sierra, curator of the exhibition  "Terracotta Army is a journey to the heart of one of the most enigmatic archaeological findings in history".

Big success of visitors in Madrid, Bilbao Seville and Barcelona

The exhibition arrived to Barcelona the last spring after its success in Seville and Madrid, and after having beaten all attendance records in Bilbao, Spain, where the exhibition was the one that achieved the highest amount of visitors in the story of the venue.
